just a few days from six monthes

Aight so it was a pretty cool week. First things first my district leader and five other missionaries got sent home so I am currently a self appointed district leader over my comp haha. So now were all alone again in the house and our area got even bigger and not just because we adopted Alta Vista 1. When we take the bus to Rancha Anapra its about thirty minutes to the ranch and then another thirty to the end of the line, which is the border of NM. Then we can hike up a sandy mountain to another lil town where everyone steals electricity. Also in Rancho Anapra the hottest place to go on the weekends is the "nigth" club. Looks pretty cool hahaha. Sometimes here in mexico the stoplights do red and green at the same time but i´m never fast enough to get a picture of it. We were eating with the bishop´s family a few days ago and they put a basket of fruit on the table and I went to grab a mango but right next to the mango there was a pear that was bruised so it looked like a mango so I said mango and grabbed the pear and everyone started laughing and now the bishop thinks I´m dumb but its chill. We also talked to this pentacostal homie who told us his beliefs about the rockafeller family that is building neighborhoods in Juarez where to live there you have to obey what they say and that all the killings in Juarez and the Rockafellers killing women as sacrifices to the devil to protect their building... Idrk if were gonna go chill with him again. Final story is a classic drunk guy. We were on the bus and my comp sat next to a drunk guy who had a full plastic bag. The drunk pulled a potato out of the bag and just said papa and then started laughing so hard and half of the bus too lol.
We´ve been teaching this family who have been going to church, reading, praying, all the good stuff and have a baptismal date. We usually only teach the parents but we passed by with the 13 year old son the other day and explained lesson one and he offered the final prayer and said how grateful he was that we talked to him and that we answered a lot of questions he has about life. That was very satisfying to hear and makes me want to work harder because I know there are more of the people out there ready to hear the gospel.
Also this ward is crazy and just about go in a fist fight yesterday but this emails already too long so peace out

Hey yall not too much time but my new area is huge and we have this little town 30 minutes outside the city that I can see New Mexico from haha. My new companion is a really hard worker and we get along really well. I live in a house separated in two parts so there's really four missionaries there so that's really fun. There's a bunch of work here, we have like six baptismal dates. I went back to Del Real on saturday to dunk one of my oldest investigators. aight lol this was a v interesting week. First i got my new companion who is sooooo funny. Hes this chubby lil dude that deep fries everything he eats and then never does the dishes hahaha. Some members gave me a big picture of some indian dude in mexico city carrying a woman so im big culture now!! I love mexico bc they shut off our gas even tho we payed our bill so the members recommended just cutting off the padlock on the meter and so we did and now we have gas lol, cant do that in america. I also took a quick vacation to mexico city for my green card, it was super fun to go with my compa from the mtc and we met up with my friends in cancun. I threw away the super important paper that nobody told me to keep so that was almost a problem but a dude from the mtc came and gave me a new one. Semana 12 - November 18, 2019

Aight yall one transfer in the field over with! Kinda sad because me and my companion finally clicked this week and had a ton of fun but now he's going home to ecuador. I had to give a talk in sacrament meeting lol so that was funny. We can't go out too much because my compa isn't allowed to be in the sun after his surgery so we chill in the house and listen to our neighbors blast banda all day. I went to the temple with my ward which includes my first convert and two other recent converts. My compa went to a session with the mish pres so i was just like a dad explaining everything to my three sons haha. Kinda sad because one of my investigators that was really into the church, going on sundays, reading the BOM all that good stuff got a new job a couple weeks ago that didn't let him go to church anymore, He stopped reading the BOM and then lost his job, he now thinks its because he didn't put the Lord first but i feel bad bc he's having a real rough time rn.
